AutoApplyHQ does not submit applications for you. You remain responsible for reviewing all information before submitting any application.
Chrome Extension Data
If you use the AutoApplyHQ Chrome extension, we may collect and process information necessary to provide extension functionality, including:
- The URL of the job page you choose to save
- Job listing information visible on supported job sites
- Application page URLs where you choose to use autofill
- Autofill activity metadata, such as whether autofill started, completed, or partially failed
- Field count metadata, such as the number of fields attempted or filled
- Submission-related activity signals, such as whether the extension detected a likely application confirmation page
- Extension connection status and token metadata
The extension is designed to act only after user action. AutoApplyHQ does not use the extension to read unrelated browsing history, monitor all browsing activity, or collect information from pages where you do not use AutoApplyHQ features.

When you use these features, resume content, job descriptions, and related career information may be sent to model API providers to generate outputs. We only send information needed to provide the requested feature.
We do not use your resume, job data, or application profile data to train our own public AI models. Our use of third-party AI providers is governed by their applicable terms and data processing practices.
You should not upload information you do not want processed by AI systems.
4. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the Services, such as:
- Authentication providers, including Clerk
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers

When you request deletion, we will take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account, subject to legal, security, backup, fraud prevention, or operational requirements.
You may also delete certain saved jobs, resumes, or profile information directly within the Services where those features are available.
If you disconnect the Chrome extension, the extension token may be revoked or removed, and locally stored extension connection data may be cleared from your browser. Disconnecting the extension does not automatically delete all account data stored in AutoApplyHQ.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
These measures may include:

- Secure token handling

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The extension does not submit applications on your behalf. You are responsible for reviewing and submitting any job application.

AutoApplyHQ is not intended for children under 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
